Goodbye Class of 2014. Your class is very special to me. You’ve been the class I’ve helped the most with the admissions process. It will be your class that I remember with a special fondness.
I am so proud of you. You know I love this profession, and you are in for quite a wonderful life as doctors of optometry. I know you’ll come to love this profession as much as I do.
Life moves fast. Stay in the Now and don’t let the tyranny of the urgent rob you of the joy you will experience when you take care of your patients. It is a sacred trust to care for another human being the way you will as a doctor of optometry. You will have many of these sacred moments. Savor and be thankful for each one.
You did it! You are now doctors of optometry!!!
Please check back with us, Eryn and me, and let us know how your lives unfold.
It’s all ahead of you…
