SCCO is dedicated to excellence in clinical education. As such, part of that excellence comes in empowering the clinician with skills that will help him or her be successful when it comes to wearing the two hats of being both a doctor and running a business.

SCCO’s Private Practice Club’s new president and 2nd year student, Brianna Kebo, has formatted a brand new blog for club members. Though the Private Practice Club at SCCO is not new, the blog is new so be patient while it gets populated with information.

It’s all part of what SCCO has to offer its students!

SCCO’s Private Practice Club’s Vision Statement:

SCCO Private Practice Club at Marshall B. Ketchum University is dedicated to providing additional resources and knowledge to its student members, helping to bridge the gap between classroom curriculum and real-life practice management. PPC prepares students who are interested in optometric private practice by hosting guest speakers at monthly business Upcoming Eventsmanagement events, by providing networking opportunities with optometrists and optometric vendors, and by bringing relevant and beneficial information to its student population. We hope to better prepare graduates for a smooth transition by supplementing and expanding on the instruction the students receive in the classroom. Our goal is promote entrepreneurship, and give our members the tools they need to succeed in their future endeavors.
